“On May 7/17 at the age of 91 I left for the Camino Trail. But before that, there was much to do and I wasn’t sure just WHAT !!
Ariana took me to stores that would have appropriate clothes and gear such as backpacks, walking sticks, outer jackets, and rain gear needed. I was grateful for her help and advice as I really had no idea just what to purchase.
It was a relief to know that Ariana made all travel and accommodation arrangements so I had no worries or concerns in that regard. All our flights worked out perfectly. Our accommodations far exceeded my expectations and were a welcome sight and comfortable places in which to relax at the end of a long day.
Since I was 91 years of age, I didn’t walk as fast as many others. Ariana walked with me without giving me the impression she was “looking after me”!
All in all, my whole adventure of walking the 400 KM was much easier and more enjoyable by having gone with Ariana.”
